This public website

You can read this website without an account. Its loan and savings calculators run in your browser; their inputs are not sent to our servers or saved by these tools. Hosting providers may process technical request information to serve and protect the website. We have not added advertising trackers or a mailing-list signup here.

Contact form

The contact form prepares a message in your email app, where you choose whether to send it. We receive messages at hello@thebudgetingimmigrant.com, hosted by Zoho Mail. Saving a draft downloads a text file to your device. The form does not submit messages to our servers or send them automatically. We use received messages to respond to your inquiry and retain them as needed for support and business records.

Family Ledger

The app uses authenticated accounts and stores ledger information needed for budgeting and sharing. Firebase supports authentication and cloud data services. Access depends on ledger membership. Shared financial records are separate from private account personalization. Receipt photos remain on the device; eligible personalization can sync privately across devices.

Optional integrations

Brand searches and logo requests use Brandfetch and other published image sources. Company search text is sent when a user requests a search. Stripe supports subscription testing; public live checkout is not open. Plaid bank connections are limited to a controlled founder pilot. Provider services process information under their own policies.

Email features

Transactional email delivery is paused. When activated, relevant addresses and message content will be processed by the email provider for requested invitations, verification, receipt processing, and optional summaries. Forwarded emails may contain purchase details; only forward content you are entitled to share. Provider processing and retention are separate from app storage.

Your choices and requests

You can control whom you invite, whether to use optional features, and whether to enable optional summaries when available. Visit our contact page for privacy, correction, deletion, or support requests. Deletion requests may require identity verification; we will explain any necessary retention rather than promise immediate deletion of every backup.
